Sparklight Internet Availability

For people living in rural areas, Sparklight is a good choice for high-speed cable Internet with very fast download speeds.

They have no contracts for their Internet, TV and voice services, all of which can be bundled together. In the cities and towns where they are available, Sparklight's download speeds are much faster than DSL or satellite.

Connection Type: Cable Internet

Download Speeds: Up To 940 Mbps

As a coaxial cable company, Sparklight's upload speeds will be slower than their download speeds. Their current speed tiers are:

The first three speed tiers are available anywhere Sparklight provides service, and the GigaONE plus plan is available to over 75% of customers.

One big negative about Sparklight Internet is their data caps. They have bandwidth limits that scale up from 350 GB to 1,200 GB of data usage per month. Unlimited data is available, but costs $40 more per month.

In the age of unlimited bandwidth fiber connections, Sparklight's data caps make them less competitive if a fiber-based ISP is available.
